"I'm one of those regular weird people." - Janis Joplin

Vest: Vintage Diesel; Tee: American Apparel; Sunglasses: Dior;
Pants: Uniqlo; Shoes: Coach; Bag: Nordstroms

I found this fringe vest at a vintage shop in Brooklyn... Beacon's Closet.. I'm sure most of you have heard of it. It was my first visit there; last week, and I fell in love with it- I could spend hours and hours in vintage shops... I found some other amazing finds there too, my favorite being a pearl necklace that looks like a tie... I will post it soon!

Happy Wednesday!

oh, wyclef

Blazer: Vintage; Top: F21; Spikey Ring: Marc by Marc Jacobs;
Ring: So Good Jewellery

So this is what I wore to the Brian Reyes afterparty + some Roberto Gianni heels that you can't see in any of the above photos. Wyclef performed and DJ'd the party at 1 Oak.. it was pretty amazing.. I only snuck this one pic because I didn't want to look like.. you know.. uncool. I was trying to be nonchalant about the fact that I was standing beside the one and only Wyclef- as if this is something I do on a regular basis (but I was really dying inside of excitement- because I secretly love him).
On to other news...
While in NYC I got the chance to do an amazing shoot with the cobrasnake in Brooklyn (on a rooftop apartment- so good!) for a magazine I freelance for, I don't have any of the photos yet but I will post them when I can. And for those of you who have never met the cobrasnake- he is a totally rad guy!

I have more photos from fashion week that I will hopefully get around to posting soon... I can't stop looking at everyone elses photos and the designers they loved from the past week though! So many good collections!

better in real life

Jacket and necklace: vintage; Tank: Wilfred; Jeans: J Brand; Shoes: Juno New York
  • I know these shoes are kind of crazy/weird... but I love them and they are soo comfortable
  • This jacket is super cool but it doesn't translate as well in photos.. (so much better in real life)
  • The snow is starting to melt = outdoor photos soon?
  • Getting really excited for NY Fashion Week
peace.
ps- thanks for all of those who informed me about where I can find studs, I will be ordering some asap

denim + diy's

Denim shirt: thrifted; T-Shirt: Hanes- DIY; Shoes and purse: Roberto Vianni

I know I'm abit late on the diy shredded t-shirt thing... I was too lazy to learn how to do it.. but then I finally googled it and found it to be way easier than I thought it would be. I think I want to do another one with a panel in a different place.. or maybe just a wider one.. but it starts to hurt my fingers after awhile.
I was even planning on trying my hand at studding (I really want to stud an oversize blazer that I have), but I can't find any studs at any store in the whole city.. What's up with that!?

Studded

Blazer: Vintage; Shorts: ripped Abercrombies; Purse: Lux; Boots: Urban Heritage, Glasses: Vintage

The boots have studs on them too.. but you can't see them very well in this picture. How do I make them bigger? I have no clue...
